Jennifer Lawrence Smokes Weed in Third Consecutive Movie

October 27, 2023 · CelebStoner

J-Law is on a roll.

Actress Jennifer Lawrence has smoked weed in her last three movies. In her latest, the raunchy comedy No Hard Feelings, her character Maddie hits a joint in an early scene while hanging out with friends at the beach. She passes it to Jim (Ebon Moss-Bachrach). It’s the only cannabis use or reference in the movie, which is now streaming at Netflix.

Down on her luck, Maddie agrees to coax a shy teenager (Andrew Barth Feldman) out of his shell in exchange for a Buick. Things, of course, don’t go according to plan as Percy predictably falls for the considerably older Maddie. In one wacky scene, they disrobe at said beach during a nighttime frolic that goes awry.

In her previous two films, Lawrence’s characters also smoke – a pipe in Don’t Look Up (2021) during a particualrly stressful moment as a comet hurtles toward Earth and a blunt with Brian Tyree Henry in Causeway (2022) during a bonding session that gets deep.

In 2015, Lawrence said she took a bong hit before attending the Oscars.

In 2013, she was photographed smoking a joint in Hawaii after the success of Silver Linings Playbook. Just 22, Lawrence won the Best Actress Oscar for her role as Tiffany in the 2011 football movie.

She has also received Oscar nominations for her performances in Winter’s Bone (2011), American Hustle (2014) and Joy (2018).

Now a mom, J-Law said last year she was taking a weed break – just not in her films.  (Full Story)
