Americans by a two-to-one margin support Biden’s pardons for cannabis convicts and want more records QUASHED

Americans by wide margins support President Joe Biden‘s decision to pardon all prior federal convictions for marijuana possession and want to see similar clemency at the state level — the latest sign of a growing social acceptance of pot.

Roughly two thirds of Americans support the pardons and want governors of states to follow Biden’s lead and forgive convictions at the state level, according to an Ipsos survey of more than 1,000 adults this past weekend.

The poll is just the latest indicator of growing tolerance for the drug, as voters in five states gear up to decide in next month’s midterm elections whether to allow recreational weed for residents aged over 21. Full Story
