Cannabizteam Worldwide has released its 2023 Cannabis Industry Salary Guide exclusively via Benzinga Cannabis and El Planteo. The new guide shows remarkable strength in the U.S. cannabis job market in the face of global economic challenges.

Over the last year, cannabis salaries rose 5% on average and compensation for top executives rose as much as 10% year-over-year.

“Fueled by a substantial increase in new cannabis consumers, record sales of over $30 billion, and the addition of high-population adult-use states, the cannabis job market remains remarkably strong,” said Liesl Bernard, founder and CEO of CannabizTeam.

For 2023, CannabizTeam projects 108,000 new cannabis jobs, with the strongest job markets being NY, NJ, MD, MO and IL (adult-use), when they are fully established. Several medical-cannabis-only states also experienced plenty of success in 2022, including FL, OH, OK and PA. (Full Story)
