An NCAA panel is calling for the removal of marijuana from the organization's list of banned drugs, suggesting that testing should be limited to performance-enhancing substances. A chemical found in cannabis could be the most effective way to prevent an opioid overdose, scientists believe. Scientists at Indiana University have identified 15 chemicals derived from cannabidiol (CBD) — one of the primary compounds in cannabis — that can reverse the deadly impact drugs such as fentanyl can have on the brain.
