Since the sale of marijuana became legal in Missouri, Fridays have been busy at Kansas City marijuana’s dispensaries.
On this Friday, among the customers were basketball fans from out of town.
“We saw some Iowa State gear,” said Sam Morrison, manager of From the Earth. “We saw, you know, some West Virginia stuff. And then all of a sudden, we saw those wide eyes come through the door.”
Missouri is the only state in Big 12 country with legal recreation marijuana and fans are taking advantage of it.
“Some people are just walking right by the store and then turning around and circling back and coming in,” Morrison said. “They’re asking a lot of questions.”
Busy marijuana dispensaries are not new.
The State of Missouri recently reported that over $100 million in marijuana sales were made. (Full Story)
